Industrial Painter

About the role

We are seeking an Industrial Painter for a full-time position at our local facility focused on metal fabrication. The role involves preparing surfaces, using a pressure pot system, and applying paints, primers, and coatings according to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and masking as needed
• Mix and apply paints, primers, and coatings to surfaces in accordance with specifications
• Operate and maintain spray guns, pressure pots, and other painting equipment
• Inspect finished work to ensure high-quality standards and correct any defects
• Follow safety protocols including proper use of PPE and ventilation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, or other technical documents
• Absorb and assist with routine maintenance of painting equipment and tools

Requirements

• Pass a paint test
• Experience with a pressure pot system
• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of experience in industrial painting or a similar role preferred
• Familiarity with different types of coatings and surface preparation techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and instructions
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations related to painting and coatings
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces

Pay and Schedule

• Pay: $24-27 per hour based on experience
• Schedule: Monday - Friday working 8-10 hours per day and some Saturdays
• Overtime Available
• Weekly Pay!
