About the Role
Ranew's Companies is seeking an Industrial Painter to join our team. Industrial painters apply paint and other coatings to a variety of materials and surfaces and work as part of a team. We are looking for Industrial Painters with real industrial coating experience, including Liquid Spray or Powder Coat.
Responsibilities
- Prepare paints using measurement equipment such as viscosity cups, thickness gauges, and gloss gauges to check paint makeup. Mix appropriate compounds for the job using an understanding of chemistry.
- Apply paint using a variety of techniques and tools, including spray equipment, rollers, or brushes. Choose the best tools for the job and apply primers, pre-finishes, and finishing coats. Use special equipment such as self-contained suits or protective wear when required.
- Clean work areas after completing a job, following all guidelines for the safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals and waste.
