Industrial Painter

About the role

Responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and similar coatings to manufactured materials and equipment using various techniques, including industrial sprayers, rollers, and brushes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces of items to be painted to ensure proper adhesion
• Paint and apply finishing coats in accordance with blueprints and/or customer specifications
• Set up and maintain work areas and operate painting equipment in accordance with safety procedures
• Inspect paint jobs and materials, adjust colors, and fix defects
• Record and report working hours and material usage
• Maintain clean work areas, tool repair, and equipment inventory

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous experience with industrial painting is preferred
• Steel toe shoes/boots required
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
