Industrial Paint/Blast Team Lead

About the role

The Industrial Paint/Blast Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of painters and blast operators. This position ensures that all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure safety and quality standards are met
• Train and mentor team members on proper techniques and safety protocols
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects
• Monitor equipment usage and maintenance to prevent downtime
• Document and report any incidents or near-misses to management

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in industrial painting or related field
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Experience with safety training and certifications preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
