Responsibilities

  • Prospecting new business and seek out innovative solutions for key industry segments
  • Create and execute a territory sales plan that meets or exceeds set sales goals
  • Optimize call routes to maximize time in the field and overall efficiency
  • Meet regularly with customers in sales territory to understand their needs
  • Educate customers on Crawford’s value-add offerings
  • Identify and pursue new customer acquisition opportunities in assigned territory
  • Conduct cold calls to acquire new customers in assigned sales territory
  • Build long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with new customers
  • Champion Crawford's brand in the local community and assigned area
  • Be regularly available and responsive to customers' real-time needs
  • Identify and execute local marketing activities to enhance presence and grow sales

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience
  • PREFERRED: 2+ years of industry-related experience
  • Proven track record of consistent achievement of sales goals
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus
  • Passionate individual with a desire to succeed
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with strong time management and organizational skills

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel up to 80%

Skills

  • Strong sales and customer relationship skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of industrial and/or automation and control market
