About the role
We are hiring a Maintenance Technician with a strong commercial electrical background to handle the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of warehouse equipment—including dock levelers, overhead doors, truck restraints, and overhead cranes.
Responsibilities
- Install and service warehouse and dock equipment, including overhead doors, dock levelers, restraints, and cranes
- Troubleshoot and repair both new and existing equipment
- Follow manufacturer instructions, blueprints, and electrical/wiring schematics
- Complete work orders thoroughly and communicate job progress or issues clearly
- Use power tools, hand tools, and operate equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts
- Work safely at heights and adhere to all company safety protocols
Requirements
- Ability to work Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm and cover other shifts and weekend overtime when needed
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, and technical documents
- Comfortable using power and hand tools
- Capable of working at heights and operating lift equipment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must provide steel-toe boots (all other safety gear is provided)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with overhead cranes, commercial dock and door equipment or warehouse system installations preferred
- Electrical experience preferred
