Industrial Metrology & Quality Engineering Lead

About the role

The Industrial Metrology & Quality Engineering Lead is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and metrology processes within the manufacturing facility. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of industrial metrology techniques.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality control systems
• Develop and enforce metrology standards and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Lead metrology projects and initiatives to improve product quality and efficiency
• Train and mentor team members on metrology and quality engineering best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in metrology and quality engineering
• Proven track record of leading metrology and quality improvement initiatives
• Experience with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Proficiency in metrology equipment operation and calibration
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC)
• Experience with Six Sigma methodologies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
