About the role

C&W Services is seeking an Industrial Mechanical Technician - MID to join our team in Paris, IL. The position offers a competitive salary of $28.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience, weekly pay on Fridays, comprehensive benefits, and advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on various industrial equipment
• Assist in formulating preventive maintenance standards and work procedures
• Operate and maintain heavy industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissors lifts, basket trucks, and skid loaders
• Ensure compliance with company and customer regulations, policies, and procedures
• Communicate effectively with team members and assist in short- and long-range planning
• Maintain positive customer and employee relations

Requirements

• 0-5 years of mechanical experience and/or 1-2 years of education in industrial maintenance technologies preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work from elevated areas
• Knowledge of hand and power tools, precision alignment, rigging, pipefitting, welding, blueprint reading, mathematics, and Preventive/Predictive Maintenance
• Ability to operate and have knowledge of simple and complex heavy industrial equipment
• Flexibility to work all shifts including holidays and weekends as demanded by the job

Pay

The starting salary for this position is $25.50 - $30.00 per hour, depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, total hours worked, job type, business line, and applicability of collective bargaining agreements.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm; some on-call hours.
