Industrial Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on pumps, conveying systems, piping, heat exchangers, power transmissions, and other power-driven rotating equipment.
• Assist in formulating preventive maintenance standards and work procedures.
• Operate and have knowledge of simple and complex heavy industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissors lifts, basket trucks, and skid loaders.
• Ensure compliance with all company/customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with all team members to support short- and long-range planning.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in industrial maintenance or 4+ years education in industrial maintenance technologies/engineering preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work all shifts including holidays and weekends.
• Physical requirements will be provided upon employment.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of hand/power tools, precision alignment, rigging, pipefitting, welding, blueprint reading, mathematics, Preventive/Predictive Maintenance.
• Maintain positive customer and employee relations.

Pay

$27.20 - $32.00 per hour, depending on experience level determined during interview process.

Schedule

Tuesday-Friday, 7:00am-5:30pm (1st Shift).
