Responsibilities
- Assist with the repair and maintenance of production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as lubricating machinery, cleaning equipment, and replacing minor components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose basic equipment issues, escalating complex repairs to senior maintenance technicians as needed.
- Utilize basic hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to support maintenance activities.
- Follow all company safety policies, operating procedures, and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and document repairs, inspections, and equipment performance.
- Support equipment uptime and production efficiency by responding to maintenance needs in a timely manner.
- Participate in on-the-job training and development programs to build technical skills and maintenance knowledge.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance team members to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in a maintenance, manufacturing, or technical role preferred.
- Experience using basic hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical certification or training in mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance, or a related field is a plus.
Skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn advanced maintenance systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Basic computer skills, including experience using iPads and software applications.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Work Environment
- Must stand, walk, and lift heavy materials up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Work in a safety-focused, fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and other potential hazards.
- PPE is required.
