Industrial Maintenance Technician

About the role

Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright position in Sharpsville, PA. Responsible for ensuring operation of all plant equipment as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot facility industrial equipment using operation manuals, instructions, drawings, and schematics.
• Perform all maintenance tasks in accordance with OSHA standards, including lockout-tagout, confined space, fall protection, and proper PPE usage.
• Work unexpected shifts for emergency repairs, including weekends as required.
• Complete all paperwork and documentation in a clear, legible manner.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
• Apply a strong continuous improvement mentality.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Foundry environment experience a plus.
• Steel fabrication experience (cutting/welding) preferred.
• Basic electrical and mechanical skills, including troubleshooting three-phase electric motors and controls.
• Arc flash safety experience a plus.
• Good physical condition: ability to stand, bend, kneel, safely climb ladders, and work on equipment safely for an entire shift.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Good communication skills with employees, supervisors, and managers.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
