Industrial Maintenance Technician

$2,000 hiring bonus for this full-time position.

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our precision manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines and various other machinery.

Responsibilities

• Examine machines to diagnose issues, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, reassemble machines, and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production equipment
• Repair CNC machines and/or robotics
• Occasionally make replacement parts
• Perform general preventative maintenance of machinery
• Provide work training to less experienced maintenance staff as needed

Requirements

• Ability to work under limited supervision with minimal technical guidance
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors
• Preventive industrial maintenance experience preferred, but not required
• Previous experience with CNC grinding and/or machining equipment is a plus
• General knowledge and skill with basic hand tools
• Ability to follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and industry standards
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more

Work Environment

Well-lit, temperature-controlled machine shop. Employees will need to be able to work while standing, sitting, bending, and climbing. Employees will occasionally lift and work inside of machines.
