Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Read manuals, blueprints, and schematics to understand equipment and controls
- Inspect non-operational equipment for damages and wear
- Troubleshooting mechanical problems
- Disassemble machinery and equipment for cleaning, maintenance, and repair
- Performs preventative and predictive maintenance as needed
- Replace worn or faulty components that are preventing optimum machine performance
- Perform tests and operate machinery to ensure proper functionality
- Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications
- Facility/Building maintenance as needed
- Assisting in the machining department by setting up and operating CNC machines
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate’s industrial maintenance degree or 2+ years of experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of basic electricity
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and instrumentation
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- Use of various types of tools
