Industrial Maintenance Technician

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

• Read manuals, blueprints, and schematics to understand equipment and controls
• Inspect non-operational equipment for damages and wear
• Troubleshooting mechanical problems
• Disassemble machinery and equipment for cleaning, maintenance, and repair
• Performs preventative and predictive maintenance as needed
• Replace worn or faulty components that are preventing optimum machine performance
• Perform tests and operate machinery to ensure proper functionality
• Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications
• Facility/Building maintenance as needed
• Assisting in the machining department by setting up and operating CNC machines

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate’s industrial maintenance degree or 2+ years of experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of basic electricity
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and instrumentation
• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication skills
• Use of various types of tools
