Main Function
Safely maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and fabricate components as needed to assure continuous operation of the equipment, machinery and facility.
Assist in the installation, modification and upgrade of plant machinery and support equipment.
Interface with operators, leads, supervisors and management to address and resolve maintenance issues.
Troubleshooting and Repair
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment and machinery to assure continuity of production flow.
Correct problems with production and support equipment to minimize downtime and cost. - Audit, inspect, maintain, repair and replace as needed critical maintenance equipment, machinery and tools.
CMMS Management
- Champion CMMS (MaxPanda), to schedule, document and manage preventive maintenance, work orders, audits and inspections.
- Assure all safety inspections are completed and recorded in CMMS system.
- Celebrate preventive maintenance program, assuring that the work is completed in a timely manner.
- Assure that proper parts and supplies are available for PM work and work is recorded in CMMS system.
Coordination and Collaboration
- Works with Engineering and maintenance personnel to source and purchase needed parts and supplies.
- Coincides with maintenance team to schedule and oversee outside contractors required for repair and PM work.
- Collaborates with maintenance team to ensure a work environment that is safe and free from hazards and unsafe behaviors.

Qualifications
- Two years’ experience in manufacturing and facility maintenance
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques and manufacturing maintenance repair required.
- Ability to safely and effectively operate a variety of machine shop equipment, power tools, hand tools, gauges, and material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of occupational safety and health policies and procedures related to the entire plant operation required.
- Microsoft Office, Outlook, Shop floor and CMMS experience
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- While performing duties of job, incumbent frequently required to stand; walk; sit; climb stairs; reach above and below chest level; use hands to finger; handle or feel objects; tools or controls; reach with arms; talk and hear.
- Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and may be exposed to chemical, non-toxic fumes or dust.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
- The environment is well lit; the noise level is often minimal but incumbent may be exposed to higher than 85 decibels on occasion.
