Industrial Maintenance Technician

Primary Responsibilities

• Partner with Maintenance and Facility leadership to reduce equipment downtime and improve operational efficiency
• Repair production equipment safely and efficiently following breakdowns
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Fabricate, modify, and install new or existing equipment
• Support continuous improvement projects and assigned initiatives

• Follow all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage
• Comply with all NOV policies, HSE standards, and quality procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Duties

• Work overtime and shift schedules as required
• Stand and walk for up to 12 hours per day
• Perform frequent bending, stooping, and repetitive movements throughout the shift
• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Push and pull equipment or materials throughout the shift
• Travel up to 10% as needed

Education And Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Experience in fabrication, mechanical, and electrical repair using shop tools is preferred
• Forklift certification is preferred
• Ability to read and use precision gauges, drawings, and technical instructions is required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand tools is required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is required
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and reliability are required
