Industrial Maintenance Technician

Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with Maintenance and Facility leadership to reduce equipment downtime and improve operational efficiency
- Repair production equipment safely and efficiently following breakdowns
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Fabricate, modify, and install new or existing equipment
- Support continuous improvement projects and assigned initiatives
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage
- Comply with all NOV policies, HSE standards, and quality procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Duties
- Work overtime and shift schedules as required
- Stand and walk for up to 12 hours per day
- Perform frequent bending, stooping, and repetitive movements throughout the shift
- Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Push and pull equipment or materials throughout the shift
- Travel up to 10% as needed
Education And Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Experience in fabrication, mechanical, and electrical repair using shop tools is preferred
- Forklift certification is preferred
- Ability to read and use precision gauges, drawings, and technical instructions is required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand tools is required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is required
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and reliability are required
