Industrial Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and modification of new and existing industrial equipment. This role will recommend and execute maintenance procedures and may involve additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Perform troubleshooting functions in a manufacturing environment
- High voltage experience, DC Circuits, and PLC knowledge
- Industrial Controls, including panels, relays, switches, and wiring
- Able to read, interpret, and follow Electrical Diagrams and schematics
- Rotating Equipment troubleshooting and repair
- Preventive Maintenance Execution
- Pneumatics and pneumatic controls and components
- Inspection of equipment and effective communication with peers and managers
- Welding using MIG and/or Stick
- Use of various equipment and tools, including electrical testing tools and mechanical tools
- Maintenance of a clean and safe work area
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years experience working as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic with demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting
- Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment desired
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities and quickly respond to minimize production delays
- High School Diploma, with Technical School Certifications preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office and other support software
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
The position operates in a professional office environment and a manufacturing setting, with exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and moving mechanical parts.
The employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear, and be around rotating heavy machinery. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk, and must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must be able to lift and/or carry up to 100 pounds, balance, bend, stoop, or kneel, climb, push/pull, and squat or crouch.
The position requires rotating shifts, with availability for overtime and weekend work.
