Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role supports plant performance by minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Reliability & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and refine preventive maintenance plans to improve uptime
- Identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions
- Recommend process and equipment improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
Your Day To Day
- Perform routine, preventive, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and execute timely repairs
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to troubleshoot equipment
- Install, modify, and repair machinery, components, and control systems
- Use diagnostic tools (e.g., voltmeters, ammeters) to test equipment performance
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and support plant housekeeping initiatives
- Complete Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and identify/report hazards
- Follow all safety, environmental, and JM policies and procedures
- Wear proper PPE and actively contribute to a safety-first culture
Team Collaboration
- Partner with operations and engineering teams to resolve issues quickly
- Communicate effectively across shifts to ensure continuity of maintenance activities
- Train and support team members on equipment and best practices
