Industrial Maintenance Technician
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for this position. Local candidates only — relocation assistance is not available. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to Adel, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment issues; replace faulty components as needed.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Perform and document scheduled preventive maintenance activities to keep equipment running optimally.
- Maintain equipment in top condition and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and maintenance procedures.
- Ensure all maintenance activities meet OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards.
- Safely operate cranes, hoists, hand/power tools, precision measurement tools, and electronic testing devices.
- Work with operations and other departments to resolve equipment issues.
- Maintain parts and tools inventory for timely repairs.
- Keep accurate logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
- Operate machines as needed for troubleshooting or to support production during peak periods.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent technical education and work experience.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings; preferred.
- Electrical troubleshooting skills (480 volts and lower); preferred.
- Basic familiarity with instrumentation (level, flow, temperature), PLCs, and HMIs.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of conveying systems, rotating equipment, fans, pneumatics, and packaging equipment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb stairs, and enter confined spaces.
- Welding skills (stick/MIG; stainless preferred) a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively across teams.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Employees are required to wear appropriate PPE based on the task and environment. This may include safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face masks, and, when necessary, full hazmat suits with respirators.

Pay
Salary Range: $22 - $31 per hour.
