Industrial Maintenance Technician

About the role

C&W Services is seeking an Industrial Mechanical Technician to join our team in Fort Dodge, Iowa. This position offers competitive pay up to $28.00 per hour, comprehensive benefits, and advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on various industrial equipment
• Assist in formulating preventive maintenance standards and procedures
• Operate and maintain heavy industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissors lifts, and skid loaders
• Maintain positive customer and employee relations
• Ensure compliance with all company and customer regulations, policies, and procedures

Requirements

• 0-5 years of mechanical experience and/or 1-2 years of education in industrial maintenance technologies preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environments
• Knowledge of hand and power tools, precision alignment, rigging, pipefitting, welding, blueprint reading, mathematics, and preventive/predictive maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
