About the role
BHS Corrugated is seeking a Maintenance Technician for their site-based role in Tracy, CA. This position focuses on maintaining advanced machinery to ensure peak performance.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (inspections, lubrication, cleaning, calibration)
- Identify potential equipment issues and correct them before failure
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems as needed
- Support production by minimizing downtime and improving equipment reliability
- Document maintenance work and follow established PM schedules
- Work closely with operations to coordinate maintenance with production needs
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support
Requirements
- 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read schematics (PLC experience is a plus)
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment preferred
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to maintenance
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Experience
- PLC troubleshooting (Siemens or Allen-Bradley)
- Experience in high-speed manufacturing or production environments
- Corrugated industry experience
Pay & Benefits
Up to $44/hr based on experience, with overtime opportunities and on-call pay. Full benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and paid holidays.
