Industrial Maintenance Technician

About the role

This hands-on position involves installing, repairing, maintaining, and refurbishing milling, processing, and grain handling equipment, including 3 phase electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and fabrication. Industrial Maintenance Technicians will work extended hours and callbacks on short notice. You are responsible for food safety.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain, and refurbish milling, processing, and grain handling equipment
• Work with 3 phase electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and fabrication
• Respond to extended hours and callbacks on short notice
• Ensure food safety compliance

Requirements

• Knowledge in 3 phase electrical and electrical blueprint reading
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Welding and fabrication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to read, write, understand, and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
• Available to work overtime and weekends
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
• Able to pass a criminal background check

Physical Requirements

• Physically strenuous work
• Ability to work in tight and confined spaces
• Ability to work at heights
• Frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds (occasionally more)
• Ability to ascend/descend ladders
• Required to wear PPE

Pay

$26/hr and up, with overtime paid at 1.5x your hourly rate.

Schedule

Mostly day hours, with some overtime including evenings and weekends as needed.
