Industrial Maintenance Supervisor
Responsibilities
Lead and schedule team of maintenance technicians across shifts. Provide training, coaching, and performance management for maintenance staff. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Oversee installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production equipment (cutters, pleaters, conveyors, gluing machines, compressors, HVAC systems, etc.). Implement and manage a preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime. Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate vendor relationships for repairs and supplies. Ensure the facility is safe, clean, and in compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with production supervisors to minimize equipment downtime and meet output goals. Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and provide root cause analysis. Support continuous improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and process efficiency initiatives.
Required Skills And Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Technical certification or associate degree preferred. 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/lead role. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Familiarity with PLCs, automated machinery, and preventive maintenance systems. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work Mon-Friday 7-3:30pm.
Nice-to-Haves
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced production environment. Comfortable working around machinery, on ladders, and in varying temperature conditions.
