About the role

The Maintenance Shift Supervisor role supports the Facility Manager and the shift operational leadership team for their shift. Key responsibilities include leading and driving maintenance activities, repair functions, reporting compliance, and shift leadership. Communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive maintenance activities and repair functions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within MHS to implement maintenance activities
  • Communicate on system bridges during the shift
  • Manage communication with the customer and the Facility Resident Maintenance Manager regarding PM completion, PM compliance, equipment uptime, root cause analysis, labor allocation, and technician career training
  • Support root-cause analysis on asset failures with the goal to prevent reoccurrence
  • Train shift team on support, recovery, and maintenance of site assets
  • Aid clients with parts orders, consumables, repair and return of defective parts, warranty services, and system-related inquiries
  • Manage support documentation, root cause analysis reviews, incident resolution management, and escalation
  • Manage schedule compliance and contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Manage technician career training and reviews
  • Manage shift labor allocation reporting and other site-specific functions as needed

Requirements

  • 5+ years electrical and mechanical work experience with drawings, system integrations, new technology planning, and implementation
  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly, LGVs, AMRs, or material handling
  • 5 years' experience in at least 5 of the following areas: AMR, AGV, SDV installation, configuration, and service
  • Facilities management experience
  • Parts management experience
  • Project management experience
  • Leadership and mentorship programs experience
  • Analytics and reporting management or generation experience
  • Clear and effective communication style that builds client's trust and satisfaction
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Frequent contact with employees, customers, and the management team
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize work
  • Understanding and experience in administering a Preventive Maintenance Program
  • MS Office tools and applications (SharePoint, Teams, Office, etc.) proficiency
  • Supervisory responsibilities with fewer than 8 direct reports
  • Technical expertise and mastery of mechanical / electrical drawings for industrial control systems
  • Repairs and maintenance in accordance with operation manuals and manufacturer's specifications
  • Ability to lift, lower, and carry objects up to 50 lbs., work from heights, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
  • Able to lift, PIT, and GMP certifications
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record
  • Work requires ability to identify and distinguish colors, depth perception, eye-hand coordination, and manual dexterity
