Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - Reese Plant

Responsibilities

• Mechanical installation, setup, and repair

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the industrial, military, or owner/operator trades environment
• Food manufacturing experience preferred
• Effective functioning in a fast-paced team environment
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Flexibility to work any shift and weekends, holidays, and overtime
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Basic understanding of PC’s and basic computer skills, machine shop & welding skills
• Passing score on both a written and practical mechanical assessment
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests

Qualifications

• Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Experience with Safe Quality Food (SQF) practices
• Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
• Experience with Continuous Improvement methodology
• Experience with SAP Maintenance module

Physical Demands

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Regularly required to work around operating equipment, confined spaces, stand, reach, stoop, crawl, walk, climb ladders and bend

Pay

Starting Pay is $39.54/hour
Additional shift premium for working 2nd or 3rd shift: $1.00/hour

Shifts are determined by plant needs and will be discussed during the interview process.
