Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - Overnight Shift

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair minor pneumatic and hydraulic problems
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical pumps, motors, heaters, piping systems, water systems, and steam systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on general manufacturing equipment such as starters, start/stop stations, motors (up to 480V)
- Test performance of robotic assemblies and evaluate efficiency and reliability of industrial robotic systems
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical problems
- Work independently and under minimal supervision
- Lift and move objects up to 75 pounds
- Write basic reports and customer request documents
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must be 21 years old or older
- Flexible on duties and schedule
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to perform work at heights using fall protection gear
- Ability to bend, manipulate tools in small spaces
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
- Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field
- 2+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls
- 2+ years of experience with electrical and electronic principles, and industrial electronics
- 2+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance
- Apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with programmable firmware, AC and DC electrical systems, analog and digital display units
- Experience with robotic assemblies and calibrating systems
