Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
- Perform routine, preventative, and predictive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and maintain pumps, compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Absorb and assist with welding, fabrication, and minor equipment modifications as needed.
- Support facility maintenance, including plumbing and general repairs.
- Work collaboratively to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and parts specifications.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
- Basic welding and fabrication skills preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Comfortable working in industrial environments (noise, heat, grease, etc.).
About the Role
This role is responsible for diagnosing equipment issues, performing repairs, and carrying out preventative maintenance across a variety of industrial systems. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting and maintaining equipment such as pumps, air compressors, hydraulic presses, and pneumatic systems. Additional responsibilities include supporting manufacturing systems, basic controls, welding and light fabrication, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
