Industrial Maintenance

Position Summary

Perform all duties of the Maintenance Position, along with electrical maintenance with the primary objective being the overall maintenance of all machinery, equipment and facilities. Proficient in areas dealing with installs and repairs to electrical systems, apparatus, electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment. Intermediate boiler knowledge with the ability to maintain boiler, piping, supporting electrical systems and surrounding physical structures.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Scheduled and preventative maintenance on equipment and building
• Ability to read electrical; hydraulic and pneumatic schematics as necessary
• Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices
• Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment
• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables
• Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards
• Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections
• Assists others on their machines as needed
• Acts as a liaison with vendors when necessary
• Sets up machinery, makes the necessary adjustments and monitors the equipment to be sure it is running efficiently and effectively
• Observes all safety policies and procedures including LOTO
• Able to work in excess of 40 hours, as business needs arise
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Any other task or duty that is deemed necessary by management

• Regularly lift up to 20 lbs., occasionally lift up to 20-35 lbs., rarely lift more than 35 lbs., and over 50 lbs. requires team or mechanical assistance
