We are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Industrial Maintenance professional for our 2nd shift. This role is crucial to maintain the high standards of our manufacturing operations. As a part of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of our industrial equipment. You will work with a variety of systems including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical, as well as a range of motors and relays.Responsibilities
As an Industrial Maintenance professional, your responsibilities will include:- Performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery to avoid potential breakdowns and malfunctions.
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment including but not limited to pumps, conveyors, relays, and motors.
- Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment.
- Diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing and making adjustments.
- Using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
- Reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Wiring electrical controls and calibrating equipment for optimal performance.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of new processes and technologies to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Industrial Maintenance role should possess the following qualifications:- A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
- Proven experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Familiarity with CMM and CMMS.
- Experience with motors, relays, and other electrical controls.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Proficient in electrical troubleshooting, wiring, and ladder logic.
- Experience with conveyor and pump maintenance.
- Skills in calibration and mechanical maintenance.
- Knowledge of P&ID and maintenance best practices.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.
