Job Details

We are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Industrial Maintenance professional for our 2nd shift. This role is crucial to maintain the high standards of our manufacturing operations. As a part of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of our industrial equipment. You will work with a variety of systems including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical, as well as a range of motors and relays.

Responsibilities

As an Industrial Maintenance professional, your responsibilities will include:
  • Performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery to avoid potential breakdowns and malfunctions.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment including but not limited to pumps, conveyors, relays, and motors.
  • Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment.
  • Diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing and making adjustments.
  • Using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
  • Reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Wiring electrical controls and calibrating equipment for optimal performance.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of new processes and technologies to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Industrial Maintenance role should possess the following qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
  • Familiarity with CMM and CMMS.
  • Experience with motors, relays, and other electrical controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficient in electrical troubleshooting, wiring, and ladder logic.
  • Experience with conveyor and pump maintenance.
  • Skills in calibration and mechanical maintenance.
  • Knowledge of P&ID and maintenance best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.
