Responsibilities
- Performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery to avoid potential breakdowns and malfunctions
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment including but not limited to pumps, conveyors, relays, and motors
- Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment
- Diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing and making adjustments
- Using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
- Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas
- Reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics
- Wiring electrical controls and calibrating equipment for optimal performance
- Assisting in the development and implementation of new processes and technologies to improve operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing setting
- Proven experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
- Familiarity with CMM and CMMS
- Experience with motors, relays, and other electrical controls
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Proficient in electrical troubleshooting, wiring, and ladder logic
- Experience with conveyor and pump maintenance
- Skills in calibration and mechanical maintenance
- Knowledge of P&ID and maintenance best practices
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
Pay
$32 - $40 per hour
