Responsibilities

  • Performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery to avoid potential breakdowns and malfunctions
  • Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment including but not limited to pumps, conveyors, relays, and motors
  • Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
  • Utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment
  • Diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing and making adjustments
  • Using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
  • Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas
  • Reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Wiring electrical controls and calibrating equipment for optimal performance
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of new processes and technologies to improve operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing setting
  • Proven experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
  • Familiarity with CMM and CMMS
  • Experience with motors, relays, and other electrical controls
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Proficient in electrical troubleshooting, wiring, and ladder logic
  • Experience with conveyor and pump maintenance
  • Skills in calibration and mechanical maintenance
  • Knowledge of P&ID and maintenance best practices
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus

Pay

$32 - $40 per hour
