Pay: $26.00 - $34.28 per hour (plus $0.75 per hour shift premium).

Why Maintenance Matters at WEG

Our maintenance teams keep production moving. You’ll work with automated systems and precision equipment, including laser cutting machines. Responsibilities include:

• Inspecting, repairing, and optimizing manufacturing systems
• Supporting upgrades and installations
• Troubleshooting issues before they become problems
• Keeping safety and efficiency front and center

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and restorative maintenance on plant equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Work with Relay Logic and PLC controls
• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
• Fabricate and install mechanical components
• Move and relocate machinery, install attachments, and guards safely
• Work at heights as required
• Maintain a strong safety orientation and leadership skills

Requirements

• Strong safety orientation and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
• Demonstrated fabrication and mechanical installation skills
• Experience performing preventative maintenance across plant equipment
• Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs
• Proficient in basic math, including fractions, decimals, and percentages
• Resides within a reasonable commuting distance
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Three years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
• Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance or a similar field from an accredited institution
• ACT WorkKeys NCRC Gold or Platinum level
