Industrial Machine Builder / Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair large industrial machinery and assemblies
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Perform precision fitting, alignment, and assembly using appropriate tools
• Verify component accuracy and quality
• Troubleshoot fit-up and alignment issues
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and similar equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of mechanical experience in machine building, maintenance, or fabrication
• Intermediate blueprint reading skills
• Experience with mechanical fits, tolerances, and precision alignment
• Proficiency with measuring instruments and mechanical tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Physical Demands

Extended standing, walking, reaching, bending, and manual handling of materials up to 50 lbs. required, with good vision and focus abilities.
