About the role
This position involves, but is not limited to, responsibilities within the IG Logistics Department, including procurement of required parts for customer orders and supplies to support the IG Assembly facility and providing interdepartmental technical support.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and track inbound containers and airfreight.
- Coordinate inbound containers and freight deliveries with freight forwarders.
- Purchase Order (PO) creation - International.
- Monitor open/late PO's.
- Inform production planner/customer service of any late parts or shipments.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous interruptions.
- Strong overall office skills, including use of computers, their applications, and other office equipment.
- Knowledge of Purchasing/Inventory functions.
- Working knowledge of SAP/CRM preferred.
- Good oral and written communication and organizational skills.
Associates or certification in Supply Chain or Procurement preferred.
Pay
$22–$24 per hour. A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
Schedule
Onsite 1st shift position.
