Industrial Engineering Technology Instructor (Spanish-speaking)

Join the Flint Hills Technical College team! We are seeking a full-time Spanish-speaking Industrial Engineering Technology (IET) Instructor to begin immediately. Evening teaching hours are required.

About the role

The IET Instructor manages and teaches courses such as basic electrical, electric motors, and/or motor controls in Spanish while helping prepare students for careers in this field.

Responsibilities

• Teach classroom and laboratory courses in Spanish
• Develop and improve curriculum and instructional materials
• Mentor and evaluate student learning and performance
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success

Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree required
• Minimum of two years of paid industry experience in the field or a related area
• Knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechatronics, and industrial maintenance systems required
• Kansas teaching certificate is not required

Pay

$40,000-$60,000 based on education and experience (9-month full-time position with salary paid over 12 months)
