Industrial Engineering Lead
About the role
Guidehouse is seeking an Industrial Engineering Lead to lead the delivery of modeling and simulation solutions, recommendations for continuous improvement and operational excellence, and an implementation plan to close process gaps for various manufacturing processes. The role involves working closely with clients, project managers, engineers, data scientists, and other developers to deliver tools and strategies for optimizing industrial processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of modeling and simulation solutions, recommendations for continuous improvement and operational excellence, and an implementation plan to close process gaps for various manufacturing processes.
- Work closely with clients, project managers, engineers, data scientists, and other developers to deliver tools and strategies for optimizing industrial processes.
- Have a strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes at the value stream level, process constraints and strategies to mitigate, and optimization technologies for addressing those constraints.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
Requirements
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED Secret Federal or DoD security clearance.
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- TEN (10) years of experience related to Industrial Engineering or general engineering discipline.
Qualifications
- Experience with value stream mapping of manufacturing processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with analysis of current and future state of industrial manufacturing processes and developing plan for closing gaps.
- Knowledge of discrete event simulation and supporting software (Simio, Arena, FlexSim, etc.).
