Provide strategic leadership to improve site performance continually. Develop effective site performance measurement systems and create major plant improvement programs that you lead and implement through the management team. Set and continually improve plan numbers while fostering a continuous improvement culture that empowers associates to make data-driven decisions. Drive associate involvement and ownership in area management.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Food Science, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience within Industrial Engineering or Continuous Improvement
  • 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years leading others within manufacturing
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, advanced mathematical problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to analyze data, optimize processes, and drive evidence-based decisions
  • Proven record of success in implementing sustained continuous improvement charters
  • Experience in leading Continuous Improvement projects in manufacturing utilizing Lean Methodologies (Six Sigma, DMAIC, 5S, etc.)
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Senior Leaders and stakeholders
  • Track record in leading step-change initiatives and best practice roll-out
  • Eagerness to analyze and maximize value

  • Prior experience leading Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Experience leading change management
  • Ability to collaborate with peers
  • Experience navigating complex challenges
  • CPG experience

Responsibilities

  • Work with the regional team and the site to define the site role within the network and deploy Site Strategy
  • Own the base masterplan submission with the site technical manager
  • Support regional/global Industrial Engineering in providing data to establish the long-term capacity picture
  • Drive business change through change management, program development, and design
  • Lead oversight of Weekly and Periodic Reporting to drive a data-driven culture and fact-based decisions
  • Partner with site technical manager to own small Minor Capital Budget and maximize its effectiveness
  • Strategically partner with site Operations Manager on creating and implementing a 1-year site strategic plan, year over year
  • Use benchmarking outcomes to establish a roadmap to best-in-class across different toolkit elements for the site, working with all site teams on non-financials
