About the role

Support the design, setup, and continuous improvement of material handling systems, including supermarkets, kitting areas, sequencing areas, and milk run routes. Maintain and update material-flow data, including bill of materials, engineering changes, and new product or process introductions. Analyze material movement to identify bottlenecks, improve flow, and enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. Collaborate with production, supply chain, engineering, and other teams to provide recommendations and support improvement initiatives. Assist with planning and scheduling systems to reduce queue times and support just-in-time delivery. Support implementation and improvement of software, hardware, and equipment used for material-flow activities. Develop project plans, track progress, communicate updates, and help drive successful project execution. Assist in the design and development of material handling fixturing and packaging solutions. Determine optimal packaging methods to maintain part integrity and ensure efficient delivery. Lead internal packaging redesign initiatives to align with evolving process requirements.
