Industrial Electrician / PLC Programmer

Your Skills

• Strong industrial electrical experience
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, process controls, and automated manufacturing equipment

What You'll Do

• Read, interpret, and create electrical blueprints, schematics, and detailed circuit layouts
• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Allen Bradley PLC systems, including VFDs and 4–20 mA circuits
• Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and operational problems using advanced problem-solving techniques
• Install and wire motors, switch panels, fuse boxes, power circuits, and related electrical equipment
• Work with servo motor systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and vacuum systems
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot VFDs and process control equipment
• Work with sensors, switches, valves, safety circuits, and other automated controls
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and keep equipment operating reliably
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to identify and resolve equipment issues
• Help optimize equipment performance and support continuous improvement throughout the plant
• Maintain a strong commitment to safe work practices and electrical safety

What You'll Bring

• A high school diploma or equivalent and trade school certification
• 5+ years of experience as an industrial electrician or electrician programmer
• Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLC hardware and software
• Strong understanding of AC/DC circuits and 440 MCCs
• Experience with VFD installation and programming
• Knowledge of process controls, including sensors, switches, valves, and safety circuits
• Experience programming with Logix 5, Logix 500, and Studio 5000
• Strong manufacturing troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• A commitment to maintaining a safe manufacturing environment

Preferred

• HMI programming experience
• FactoryTalk ME experience
• Experience troubleshooting automated, high-speed manufacturing equipment
