Responsibilities
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
- Develop and modify HMI/SCADA interfaces for machine control and monitoring
- Experienced in the use of a variety of electrical control devices (Controllers, PLC, VFD)
- Participate in fieldwork including installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automation systems
- Knowledge of 3-phase, single phase, AC and DC circuits
- Knowledge of 4-20mA and 0-10V loops
- Proficiency with PLC platforms (e.g., RSLogix/Studio 5000, TIA Portal)
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
- Troubleshoot and develop ladder logic, structured text, and function block programs to support safe and efficient equipment operation
Requirements
- Willing to travel domestically & internationally
- Position may involve access to information subject to ITAR; applicants must be eligible to access export-controlled information in accordance with applicable U.S. laws and regulations
- Industrial Automation Experience
- Good interpersonal and people management skills
- Mets goals on time and within budget
- Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Knowledge MS Office (Excel, Word, and MS Team)
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years prior work experience related to electrical systems
- Experience with gas burner systems or HVAC background is helpful
- High school diploma/GED and Trade Tech, or college degree
- Experience in forklift driving, scissor lift, and other common shop machinery is helpful
