Essential Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair electrical aspects of CNC machine tools, PLC ladder, VFD motors, and robotics
- Diagnose problems, plan and complete work required, identify and order parts
- Install, modify, troubleshoot, test and repair electrical and electronic control systems up to 600V
- Maintain and modify machine tools, process equipment and facilities
- Apply knowledge of components, devices and equipment used in industrial equipment applications and the related electronics including AC and DC motors, motors controls, electronic drives, PLC, instrumentation and sensors.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Electrical Technology/Mechatronics OR High School Diploma/GED with Military Advanced Electronics Training Course
- Ability and willingness to work off shifts and weekends
- Minimum 3 years work experience in Manufacturing Facility in a technical maintenance role
- Familiarity with electrical motors and control circuits
- Strong electrical fundamental and safety knowledge (electrical schematics, NFPA 79, LOTO)
- Prior experience with operating systems, software and ladder logic (Fanuc, Siemens) used in PLC systems to diagnose and repair circuits to restore operation.
Pay
The hourly base pay range for this position is $37.47/hr to $45.68/hr. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for contractually negotiated general wage increases and COLA increases. This position is also eligible for a Night Shift Bonus of $1.00/hour.
