Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to our Industrial and Power Testing Solutions divisions
- Consulting, gathering design information, meeting with customers, performing installation and start-up services, performing certain maintenance services and participating in sales and marketing calls
- Work at customer locations for consulting, gathering design information, meeting with customers, performing installation and start-up services, performing certain maintenance services and participating in sales and marketing calls
- Electrical equipment specification
- Power distribution system design and layout
- Power system control and automation design
- Arc Flash Analysis
- Protective device settings and coordination
- Project management
- Installation supervision and commissioning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design of industrial electrical power systems
- Previous experience with SKM Power Tools for Windows or Easy Power Software for short-circuit, load flow, coordination, and arc flash hazard analysis
- Thorough knowledge of NEC as applied to industrial electrical design
- Experience with specification of low-voltage (
- Experience selecting and programming protective devices, including trip units and protective relays
- Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD and/or Revit for the development of electrical schematics and installation plans
- Preference for candidates with registration as a Professional Engineer
- Additional preference for candidates with an NCEES records to facilitate licensure in additional states
