Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities
• Evaluate and make recommendations regarding repairs
• Keep overhead crane systems operating by performing inspections, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, and responding to repair calls
• Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklists
• Inspect overhead industrial cranes and hoists to ensure safety and compliance with manufacturing OSHA and ANSI standards
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements

• Maintain a low-incident MVR and valid driver’s license
• At least one year of crane and hoist experience
• Must be okay with some out-of-town work, up to 5% of the time (per diem and hotel stay covered in the event of an overnight stay)
• Must be able to work in elevated areas
• Must be able to work with voltages up to 480V and in compliance with lockout/tagout procedures
