Job Summary

The Industrial Cleaning Technician performs environmental and industrial cleaning services, emergency spill response, equipment operation, and transportation activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

Job Duties

  • Perform industrial cleaning services at customer facilities and industrial sites.
  • Aid with vacuum truck operations, hydroblasting, tank cleaning, and line jetting.
  • Operate pumps, hoses, pressure washers, generators, vacuum equipment, and related tools.
  • Conduct spill response and remediation activities.
  • Safely operate company vehicles and equipment in accordance with company policies and DOT Requirements.
  • Transport personnel, tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
  • Safely tow, back, and maneuver company trailers in customer, industrial, and roadside environments.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers and report deficiencies.
  • Follow OSHA, customer, and VLS safety requirements.
  • Complete JSAs and required field documentation.
  • Utilize required PPE, including respirators when required.
  • Perform confined space entry work when trained and authorized.
  • Perform work at elevated heights utilizing required fall protection equipment and procedures.
  • Maintain clean worksites, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Support emergency response operations and after-hours callouts.
  • Participate in safety meetings and training programs.
  • Assist with waste handling and disposal activities.
  • Complete field reports and timesheets accurately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Must be able to safely operate company vehicles with or without attached trailers.
  • Must be capable of backing, maneuvering, loading, and towing trailers safely.
  • Must Meet All Company Driver Qualification Requirements.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical examination.
  • Must successfully complete respiratory medical evaluations and APR fit testing requirements.
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC card if required.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and emergency response call-outs.
  • Previous Industrial, Construction, Environmental Services, Or Manufacturing Experience Preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally with assistance.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and perform work at elevated height.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and perform work at elevated heights while using fall protection equipment.
  • Ability to wear respiratory protection and other PPE for extended periods.
