Industrial Cleaning Technician - 1st shift, full time

About the role

This is a full time position working, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday, and 6:00 am to noon on Saturday. Your days off will be Sunday and Monday.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain production areas: Use air blowing equipment such as air wands or blowers to remove lint and dirt from ceilings, railings, equipment, and floors
• Operate equipment: Safely operate boom lifts and forklifts to reach high areas and ensure thorough cleaning
• Vacuum and sweep: Collect and dispose of lint and dirt that has been blown down, ensuring a clean and safe working environment
• Follow safety protocols: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
• Collaborate with team: Work closely with other team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience cleaning in an industrial environment is preferred
• Must have good time management skills
• Must be able to stand for long periods
• Must be able to climb, crouch, crawl, and get on knees to access equipment
• Must not be afraid of heights
• Must be capable of operating boom lift and forklift safely, prior experience preferred
• Must have ability to comprehend and communicate in English
