About the Role

We are looking for an Industrial Automation Sales Manager to join our Rexel team in Hollywood, FL. This role is ideal for a focused, driven, and highly organized sales leader with deep experience in industrial automation and leading a dynamic sales team. You will be the strategic face of Rexel to new and existing industrial customers in central Florida, serving a diverse customer mix including entertainment, food & beverage, and aerospace. As a Rockwell Automation partner, you will practice outcome-based selling, translating customer objectives into measurable results by pairing Rockwell and complementary technologies into tailored, value-driven solutions.

Rexel Automation is a market-leading distributor with deep vendor partnerships (Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Doosan Robotics, Cisco) and a comprehensive portfolio from enterprise controls to plant-floor energy and lighting, backed by a high-performing local Florida team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategy and execute plans to expand the Automation business within assigned region/territory with existing customers and acquire new customers.
  • Develop, lead, and mentor a sales team to drive consistent profitable growth.
  • Engage with executive decision makers at key and target customers.
  • Develop and oversee a scalable and disciplined sales process utilizing CRM for funnel management.
  • Assist regional commercial leadership with review and implementation of Rexel and key supplier initiatives.
  • Lead the team to execute commercial plans for new growth sectors, such as Information Software, Process Automation, IIOT, and others.
  • Understand customer-specific business challenges for OEMs, End Users, System Integrators, Contractors, and others.
  • Drive digital adoption as a digital champion with the team and customers.
  • Review and present contractual purchase order requirements for review by legal teams.
  • Create a best-place-to-work environment for all employees and a culture focused on success and winning.
  • Celebrate team and individual accomplishments and appropriately address performance challenges.
  • Monitor and maintain market and competitive intelligence; develop a database detailing competitor information in our market area.
  • Lead customer success through Net Promoter Score tool management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct sales experience in the electrical distribution industry, preferably in the industrial automation sector (Rockwell/Allen Bradley knowledge a plus).
  • Prior management experience preferred.
  • High School or GED required; 4-Year/Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Work hours: 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
