Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial refrigeration, boiler, plumbing, fire protection, compressed air, heating, water treatment, and related systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM), troubleshooting, diagnostics, and system testing using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Assemble, align, and install piping, valves, pumps, compressors, controls, motors, and related components.
- Operate and maintain boilers and auxiliary equipment, conduct fire pump testing, monitor system readings, and respond to alarms and performance variances.
- Maintain labeling, complete required documentation, and support equipment cleaning and sanitation activities.
- Maintain required certifications and comply with safety, GMP, SQF, regulatory, and company standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.
- Work overtime, including weekends, as required to meet manufacturing needs.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- A High School Diploma is required.
- Ammonia/NH3 experience is a plus (Ammonia Operator 1 or RETA).
- Must work in a team environment.
- Maintain adherence to work hours scheduled specifically starting, ending, lunch and break schedules.
- Must be able to inspect all job-related equipment and perform various job-related tasks.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and/or push/pull 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Qualifications
- Must maintain adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations and safety guidelines.
- Must be accountable to the Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality Principles.
- Must perform all other duties as assigned.
