Induction Furnace Operator

About the role

Responsible for operating induction furnaces in a manufacturing environment. Duties include monitoring furnace temperatures, adjusting settings, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of furnace operations and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
• Perform routine inspections and repairs on induction furnaces.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize furnace performance and efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using industrial equipment and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills.

Skills

• Understanding of metallurgy and material science.
• Experience with PLCs and other automation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Pay

Schedule
