INDOOR SWIM TEAM HEAD GROUP COACH

About the role

The REC-PLEX SHARKS SWIM TEAM is seeking a Head Group Coach to lead our team of swimmers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for swimming and a proven track record in coaching.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs tailored to each swimmer’s needs and abilities.
• Manage daily practices, including warm-ups, drills, and competitive sessions.
• Provide individualized feedback and support to swimmers to help them improve their performance.
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure the smooth operation of team events and competitions.
• Maintain accurate records of swimmer progress and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Coaching, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience at a competitive level.
• Strong understanding of swim technique and physiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to motivate and inspire swimmers to achieve their best.
• Experience with swim team management software.
• Knowledge of aquatic safety protocols.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay
