Indoor Equipment Support Specialist

About the role
The Equipment Installation Coordinator provides direct support to DAR PRO customers and plants by managing equipment requisitions and installations with the Dar Pro equipment team. This role also serves as backup for other Equipment Installation Coordinator positions, with a strong emphasis on scheduling, multi-job coordination, and delivering exemplary service. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Support indoor equipment installations by facilitating requisitions and invoice matching for third-party installer companies.
- Support the DarLinQ national roll-out implementation.
- Initiate and maintain regular communication with customers throughout the installation lifecycle, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of open questions.
- Understand customer requirements and the technical aspects of equipment and installations.
- Ensure all equipment, parts, and materials are ordered, prepared, and managed.
- Schedule pre- and post-job inspections/surveys.
- Relay accurate information to management and technicians to ensure proficient, high-quality customer experiences.
- Ensure proper Oracle inputs to enable operations teams to deliver quality service.
- Serve as backup for indoor equipment order submissions in Oracle Sales Cloud, verifying accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate multiple installation crews by overseeing schedules, jobs, and resources, and directing install leads on a job-specific basis.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in either:
- Customer service in an office environment, and/or
- Project coordination.
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office as well as CRM or order management systems.

- College (2–4 year) degree.
- Good general mechanical background.
- Able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
