LOCATION
Huntersville, NC
First 90 days fully on-site; thereafter 3 days/week in-office required
WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
- Own strategic sourcing across a broad portfolio of indirect spend categories
- Deliver validated savings, optimize commercial agreements, and mitigate contractual and operational risk
- Build and execute category strategies aligned to enterprise financial targets
- Lead complex negotiations and contract redlining across high-value supplier agreements
- Develop TCO models and financial analyses that inform executive decision-making
- Deliver structured updates to leadership on pipeline performance and value realization
- Drive supplier governance, holding vendors accountable to performance and contract terms
- Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders to align sourcing strategy with enterprise priorities
- Identify and mitigate contractual and operational risk across the supplier base
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- 7–10 years of progressive strategic sourcing or procurement experience
- Experience in the area of logistics is a strong plus
- Demonstrated success leading sourcing initiatives with measurable financial impact
- Strong contract negotiation and redlining capability
- Strong Excel skills and financial modeling and spend analysis experience
- Executive communication and stakeholder influence
- High accountability, grit, and operational intensity
