LOCATION

Huntersville, NC
First 90 days fully on-site; thereafter 3 days/week in-office required

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

This role owns strategic sourcing across a broad portfolio of indirect spend categories and is responsible for delivering validated savings, optimizing commercial agreements, and mitigating contractual and operational risk.

  • Build and execute category strategies aligned to enterprise financial targets
  • Lead complex negotiations and contract redlining efforts
  • Develop TCO models and financial analyses to support executive decision-making
  • Deliver structured updates to leadership on pipeline performance and value realization
  • Drive supplier governance and performance accountability

This is not a transactional procurement role. It requires executive presence, commercial rigor, and the ability to translate data into strategic outcomes.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • 7–10 years of progressive strategic sourcing or procurement experience
  • Demonstrated success leading sourcing initiatives with measurable financial impact
  • Strong contract negotiation and redlining capability
  • Strong Excel skills and financial modeling and spend analysis experience
  • Executive communication and stakeholder influence
  • High accountability, grit, and operational intensity
